My husband and I decided to go out of our "norm" to try a new place. We will NOT be back! First, we made a reservation, as it was recommended that we do so... We drove an hour to get here- not too bad since we were expecting it would be worth it- there was a very unorganized parking situation; we didn't know where to go, people parking right up where you're supposed to walk; very confusing. Then, I walk in and everyone working there seemed completely flustered and didn't really acknowledge us at all. Then another customer rudely shoved me out of the way to show that her reservation was clearly more important than mine. They took her first. Then, when they finally do acknowledge us, they seat us at the smallest, most uncomfortable table in the whole place. I was literally touching elbows with the guy next to me. I politely ask if we can switch to an empty table right next to the water. The guy says "I can't make that decision- let me ask my manager" Then some lady comes out and as shes speeding past us, she says "You can't move because those tables are for reservations only" ..... When she comes back, I tell her "I made a reservation! Why is mine not as good as all the others???" She sees my frustration and reluctantly moves us over. Then they give me a hard time about adding something to a salad, and charged me $6 extra!!! It was just one thing after the next... My husband was very frustrated over the whole situation, and it completely ruined our vibe for the whole night. Very overpriced. Wont be back
Nice place to sit outside. Big shaded patio. I had the tuna tartar, which was really good, and seared tuna over a salad. Beer selection is decent. Some local brews.
Ease To Find & Park: 3/5
One of our favorite restaurants away from home. Its worthy of a special trip to eat here. The food above all else is great, add the service and the atmosphere and you have an unbeatable formula. Highly recommend you put it on your list of favorites.
Atmosphere: Personnel very dry. While you don't feel unwelcome there is no welcoming feel. Very dry employees... feels like just a way they male cash, no more no less. Absolutely no music, no live music, no radio, none at all...
Price: $$$$
Recommend or Not: Yes, but only if you are willing to spend, it's definitely quality of quantity of food... bring your A game for talking as its extremely quiet...
Food: Great Tasting Food, Small Portions For A Pretty Expensive Meal, Average Entree $27, low $24 High $38... Appetizer $14++... Kids Meals Inexpensive $5/$6..
The pan seared scallops were delicious, the service was great, and the view was beautiful. Great experience!
